Day 8 - Barcelona + Frankfurt

Our flight home left quite early. It was a great trip but I think we were both excited to get home and see our girls. They had the time of their lives with Grandma + Grandpa, so I don't know that there was any sadness on their part. Our flight to Frankfurt only took a few hours and left us with some extra time to explore the city.

The famous Eiserner Steg Bridge (aka Love Lock Bridge). Couples put locks on the bridge and engrave their names and marriage date. The padlocks are left on the bridge to symbolize the union of two people and the strength of their relationship.

Views from the main square. It was Sunday, so most places were closed but it was still nice to walk around the city.

We drank the most delicious, authentic hot chocolate from Bitter + Zart. The flavored sugars and spices were delicious.
And that is a wrap! We celebrate our 10 year anniversary in December, so this was an early celebration. We loved our trip and the chance to get away together. A big thank you to our friends and grandparents for taking care of our girls!

As for souvenirs, we brought back these Flamenco dresses for the girls and they were a big hit!
