Next stop - Grandma Burgon's House

It was a hot day in Utah, so we spent most of our time indoors, visiting with Grandma. The girls enjoyed playing with her old wooden toys, which have been played with for many generations. While Cate napped, we had time to catch up with Grandma. I say we, but Trever was mostly sleeping. :) He could barely keep his eyes open after a whirlwind weekend in California and very little sleep. Grandma is so fun to talk to and she is sharp as a tack.

After a while, Jane wanted to spend some time outside. We collected a few treasures from Grandma's yard and made a few pictures. If we let her, Jane would have brought home a bag of rocks, pine cones and leaves from our trip. It took some explaining to convince her that we were not going to be able to bring home all of her treasures.

Although we did not stay the night, we were able to have dinner with Grandma the next day and had a great time together in the Spruces and on the 4th of July.
