1st stop - Grandma & Grandpa Sharp's House

After collecting ALL of our luggage and getting settled in our rental car (which was upgraded to a Subaru Outback, thank you very much) we grabbed lunch, stocked up on Trader Joe's snacks and headed to the Sharps. Jane and Cate immediately warmed up to Grandma and had a great time exploring their house and playing with new toys. Cate was VERY interested in picking up and carrying around all of their fragile figurines, which left me a little nervous. I am happy to say that nothing was broken and we left their house in pretty good shape.

The girls enjoyed riding the old big wheels, exploring the backyard, swimming in the blow-up pool and throwing rocks down by the creek. Grandma kept apologizing that she didn't have more for them to do but they were totally occupied and very happy. 

On Sunday night, Trever's uncle, aunt and a few cousins joined us for dinner. We stayed the night at the Sharps and then headed to Grandma Burgon's house the next day. The girls had a great time and luckily we were able to spend more time with Grandma and Grandpa throughout the week.
