Final pictures from Utah

We stayed at a few different places while we were in Utah, but we mostly stayed with Karen, Trever's aunt. She was so kind to open her home to us and basically gave us free reign of her basement. She planned meals, hosted a BBQ, planned our 4th of July festivities, played with our girls, and organized babysitters so that we could go to the temple. She basically pulled out all of the stops to insure that we had a great time, and we did.  My girls LOVED Karen and had such a good time at her house. She has a nice backyard to play in, complete with a trampoline and plenty of balls for Cate to throw. Our girls also loved playing with her dog Hurley.

The grandkids having fun with Grandpa on the trampoline.

Karen took us on a hike along the Lagoon Trail. The girls found this nice little spot in a tree.

We hiked to a pond where the girls were able to throw rocks and watch the ducks and geese. The walk back to Karen's was a little dicey but we made it. At one point Karen was pushing her grandson in the stroller, walking her dog and carrying my tired Jane, truly amazing.

I wish I had more pictures to capture some of the other people and events from the week. We were exhausted by the end but so grateful to have a week with family. Here is Cate taking a quick nap on our way to the airport. She was out within 5 minutes of us leaving the house.
