Donut Falls

Before leaving Brighton, we made our way to Donut Falls. The hike was pretty low key but hilly enough that we decided to leave Cate behind with Grandma and Great Grandma Sharp.  While Jane was climbing, collecting and exploring, Cate was throwing rocks in the river and getting extra hugs from her grandmas. Jane loved climbing on the rocks at the bottom of the falls.

These next pictures are so precious to me. Here is Cate with her great-grandma, Edith Sharp. Cate's middle name is Edith, which is after her great-grandma. Apparently Cate was getting a little sleepy, so decided to lean on Grandma. Love this!

After the hike, we piled in the car, had some lunch and made our way back to the valley. The girls were able to get in a good nap and we enjoyed a nice quiet ride home. Big thanks to Karen for planning all of our activities this week.
