4th of July

We started off the 4th of July with a pancake breakfast hosted by Sue and Brent. We gathered at the church near their house and were able to enjoy a delicious breakfast under the pavilion. The kids loved climbing on the bleachers, playing in the field and Jane was lucky enough to have her nails painted by one of her cousins.

After the breakfast, we stopped in South Jordan to see more family and then made our way up to Brighton. The temperatures in Brighton were much more bearable and the scenery was beautiful. After settling into the house where we were staying, we went for a walk around Silver Lake. More rock throwing, more climbing and more time with family.

The start of Jane's potty dance. I quickly recognized "the dance" and we made our way to the bathrooms.

On Friday morning Trever was able to go mountain bike riding with his cousin Mindy and her husband Jake. He had a great time and was able to enjoy the beautiful views and wildflowers that were in bloom. We spent the rest of the afternoon at Donut Falls but that will be another post.
