Mimi comes to town

My mom was in town last week and we had a fabulous time! Wish we would have taken more pictures but isn't that always the case. Jane warmed right up to Mimi and she remained Jane's favorite for the entire week. Jane loved having someone else to play with and I loved having the extra hands and company during the day.

While my mom was in town we enjoyed a beautiful day at the Botanical Gardens. Yes, I do visit other places but the Botanical Gardens are amazing and my mom loves gardening. The highlights for Jane included the many fountains to dip her hands and the train exhibit. She pretty much walked/ran around the entire place and therefore she slept very well that night.

The rest of the week was filled with walks through the neighborhood, afternoons in the park and a sewing project that is almost done. We had so much fun and it made wish that we lived a little bit closer. Thanks for a great visit Mimi, in the words of Jane, "see ya soon."
