Giants Game

Trever checked the schedule and the SF Giants were playing the Milwaukee Brewers this weekend. We did what any avid Giant fan would do, we made a road trip to Milwaukee. We got a great deal on last minute tickets and were able to score some good seats.

We made a stop at McDonalds before the game, where Jane enjoyed her first chicken McNuggets. I wasn't a huge fan of feeding her at McDonalds but wouldn't you know, she loved her chicken and kept reaching for Trever's french fries. I think Trever was quite happy to be enjoying a meal with his daughter at McDonalds.

It was Jane's 1st Giants game and I have to say it was a success. She enjoyed the people watching and joined in the clapping and cheering. Once we made it through the college crowd in the parking lot, the crowd was pretty tame. Even though Trever was wearing a Giants hat, the people of Wisconsin were very friendly (Jane may have had something to do with it). It was actually warmer in Milwaukee than it was in the Chicago area, so that was another reason to head north. Even though they lost, we had a great time. It was fun to be spontaneous and get away for the day. Now we need to catch up on laundry, grocery shopping, etc... Thank goodness for three-day weekends.
