State Parks
There are some great places to visit near the Burgons, so we decided to do some exploring. We visited Henry Cowell Redwoods State Park and were able to see the Roaring Camp train. It would have been fun to go for a train ride but the departure time was in the middle of Jane's nap and she had several meltdowns while we were there. So... we just walked around, took in the sites and enjoyed the sunshine.
After a much needed nap for Jane, we went to Wagner Farm to see the animals. The chickens were of most interest to Jane and she kept asking why the rooster was trying to sit/jump on the chickens. I just told her they were playing, I think we can save the "real" explanation for a much later date.
Jane is into wearing her coat backwards as of late.
Looking at animals is serious business.
