Jane has been riding our neighbor's bike and absolutely loving it! So much so that she has thrown a few tantrums when we had to give the bike back. Now we are not ones to cave whenever she cries but this-girl-needed-a-bike. We did a lot of looking, weighed the options of purchasing a balance bike or one with pedals and we finally landed on the little beauty you see in the picture. If Jane had a credit card she would have handed it to the cashier the moment she sat on the bike. I am pretty sure it was love at first sight for Jane.
As soon as we got home on Monday night, she wanted to go for a ride. Tuesday morning, she was eager to get out of her pajamas and get dressed for the day so that she could go for a bike ride. This morning, she brought Trever his clothes and told him to get dressed because she wanted to ride her bike. She is NEVER this eager to get dressed in the morning. It is so fun to see how excited she is about this bike. Now, if she can only figure out how to stop, we are in business. Oh wait, then there is that whole training wheel thing, but she has plenty of time before we need to take the training wheels off.
