4 months

Lizzie hit the four month mark over the weekend. She is still a sweet, calm baby, and we were so grateful for her easy going personality. In addition to sucking on her fingers and thumb, she also enjoying gnawing on her hand. I am pretty sure she has some teeth coming real soon. Both Jane and Cate got there first teeth between four and five months.

She is definitely getting stronger and is able to work both arms out of her swaddle. She is starting to roll onto her side and is just starting to reach for toys or other things that are in her view. She does pretty well on her tummy and will tolerate sitting in the Bumbo for a good amount of time. She loves having her sisters around and is no longer content to be in a room by herself. She wants observe, interact and exchange smiles, which is fun. I love the sound of her happy squeal!

She is taking longer naps and is falling into a rough pattern of 3-4 naps per day. She is allowing me to get more sleep, and has slept through the night three out of the last four nights. I would love to have this trend continue. We love you Lizard and look forward to watching you grow over the next month!
