Evening at Lake Michigan

We met up with friends at Lake Michigan this evening to have a picnic dinner and enjoy the beautiful weather. The kids had a blast playing in the sand and dipping their toes in the water. I love that summer is almost here, nights like this make all of my memories of the cold fade into the background. You can't beat the summers in Chicago!

Jane was extra excited to put on her swimsuit and go in the water. It was hard to convince her that it is still too cold to go in. This girl love the beach.

Cate rolled and rolled and rolled in the sand. You should have seen the bathtub after these two got out this evening.
