Beach

My in-laws live close to the beach, so we were able to dip our toes in the ocean and play in the sand during our visit. One day we met my mother-in-law for lunch. After we ate, we walked down to Natural Bridges beach. It was a little windy but it was beautiful.

Cate enjoyed the view from grandpa's arms. 

 Jane did her own observing but quickly made her way down to the water.

 Before you know it, her pants were soaked and she was playing in her underwear. Another, "only when you are two," moment!

We also spent time at the Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk. We enjoyed playing in the sand and happened to meet a family that was from the Chicago area. It turns out that we attend the same church and know some of the same people. Crazy, right?

 Before exploring the Boardwalk, Jane decided she wanted to be buried in the sand. Very fun and VERY sandy. 

The Boardwalk had it's usual cast of characters, so the people watching was great. I saw a lot of things I didn't want to see but such is the case when you got the Boardwalk. Jane wasn't concerned with the people, she was all about the rides.

 Jane and Trever are in the 2nd cart back. We yelled like crazy people to try and get their attention.
