San Diego

We are finally home after enjoying two fabulous weeks in California. Trever had a work conference in San Diego, so we decided to tag along. What's even better than sunshine on your vacation? Having one of your closest friends meet you in San Diego. Molly and I were roommates in Palo Alto and have a lot of great memories from Olive Avenue. Her husband Jason works in the same industry as Trever, so she joined Jason so that we could play. It was so fun to spend five days together and to have some girl time. We walked the streets of the Gas lamp District, shopped, and saw a chick flick. Good times! Here is Jane with Molly at the pool:

The weather was really nice, like mid 80's. On our last night in San Diego we rented a car so that Trever could go surfing. Our first attempt to find a good surf spot did not work out but we did get to see a beautiful sunset. The next morning Trever was able to get in a sunrise surf session, on of his favorite things on the planet!
