11 months

It's hard to believe Jane is 11 months old. At this time last year, we had just moved into our apartment and Iwas very pregnant (but felt good). I slept a lot (oh that would be so nice now), drove to IKEA way too many times to find home furnishings, and took many walks along Lake Michigan. One year later I am a mother to this sweet little girl. It has been so fun to watch her grow, figure things out and become more independent.

At 11 months she is scooting everywhere. Jane has been getting in her crawling stance the past few days but she still prefers to scoot on her bum. She has started to pulling herself up, enjoys cruising along the couch and is happy to grab onto your fingers and walk around. She keeps us laughing with her funny noises, growls and raspberries (even when she is sick). She has been saying maaaaama, and I think she actually knows what she is saying. Over the past few weeks she has started to point and loves to observe. She is also quite a tease and is starting to show her sense of humor. As for eating, she still prefers most things to be purred but is starting to branch out. Yogurt is still her favorite food and is always a hit.

We are having some much fun and love this sweet girl. We can't wait to celebrate her 1st birthday!
