Halloween
It as another Halloween for the books! I always love to see what costumes these girls actually choose. The planner in me wants to order everything early, but the decision making is a process, and something they have to be sure about before we move forward with a purchase.
Jane thought long and hard about her costume and was almost going to be Hermoine from Harry Potter. She also entertained the idea of being a character from Odd Squad but eventually she decided to be a witch (something she would have never chosen in her younger years). It was fun to see her really get into character and embrace her costume.
Cate had her heart set on being a butterfly. She found a beautiful costume in a catalog but the prices were must too steep for this mama. Luckily we were able to find a blue butterfly costume that was much more affordable. But lets just say, you get what you pay for. Luckily we were able to hold it in place with a few safety pins. I think she looked adorable.
Lizzie went through a variety of options but finally settled on a black cat. It paired nicely with Jane's costume and we were able to capture a fun photo as well. Lizzie immediately got into character when her cat ears were on, and make was applied. Love this costume on her!
We had another great year at the fall festival and all of the girls enjoyed the carnival games, fun with friends and trick-o-treating. The kindergarten presentation and school parade were also memorable events. Here is Jane with two of her friends.
And here is our crew on Halloween night. Love this gaggle of girls! We had another great year on Bamboo Terrace. Happy Halloween!
