Nana & Papa come to visit

The day after Easter Nana and Papa arrived in California. The girls were THRILLED to see them. I think my dad was a little worried that they would take time to warm up, but they proved him wrong. As soon as Cate saw him in the living room, she ran down the stairs and jumped into his lap. Nana received the same love and attention. These girls were plain giddy to see their grandparents. 

While they were here we visited the Discovery Museum in Sausalito. It was a beautiful day and the crowds were small, so we had a fabulous time. The view of the Golden Gate Bridge never gets old. Love it!

While they were in town we also visited Muir Beach. The weather was sunny and beautiful but the wind was CRAZY. I thought we would only be there for an hour or two but we spent a good part of the afternoon playing on the beach. Nana taught the girls about sea glass and we all had a good time searching for beach treasures to take home.

The rest of our visit was equally fun. We played outside, went to dance and swimming and just spent time together. We are so blessed to have these two in our lives, can't wait to see them in August.
