After a week in Michigan, we flew out to California to stay with my mom. During the time we were in Michigan, Trever was able to find a rental for us and we signed a lease for August 1st. We ended up moving in the following weekend but it was nice to find a place earlier than planned so that we could get settled.

The girls had a great time at my moms house. They love playing with her dog Buddie and exploring the local parks. The weather was quite warm, so we also spent an afternoon at the park. One of the days we were there we met up with Teri and her kiddos at the Oakland Zoo. It had been a long time since I had been to that zoo, so it was fun to go again and enjoy time with family. The zoo was totally impressive and the animals were very active while we were there. We will definitely be going again soon. Thanks for a fun day Mimi and Teri!
