Burgon Family Reunion - OBX

We have been on the road the past three weekends, so I am finally catching up on our blog. A few weeks ago, we had a Burgon family reunion in the Outer Banks. I have been wanting to vacation there for a long time, so I was happy to spend a week in the sun with our family. The drive was long (15+ hours) but it was so worth it once we got there. The weather was amazing and the the girls played at the beach non-stop. They had great time playing with their cousins and definitely enjoyed the extra love and attention from their extended family. Jon Bradley was a good sport and helped Jane and Cate reenact various scenes from the movie Frozen. The music and memories from this movie are still going strong in our household. 

On Monday, we gave Brad and Andrea their birthday present, which included a family photo shoot on the beach. They were very surprised and very excited about the pictures. We did a lot of coordinating to get the outfits just right and I have to say the pictures look really great, thanks Julia! Here are a few of my favorites (some from my camera and some from the photographer).

Another part of their gift included an adult only dinner at a local restaurant. The food was delicious and it was a beautiful evening. Here we are on one of the docks after dinner. Someone may have let out an unexpected fart during the photo shoot, priceless!
