15 months

Caters is 15 months. She has become quite interactive and we all love listening to what she has to say. She mostly asks for "nack" (snack), "bo bo" (hippo) and "Dada." Jane especially enjoys exchanging giggles with her during meal time and now pulls Cate's chair as close as she can to her own chair so they can play (and hopefully eat). Now that Cate can understand more, push a stroller and really play, she becomes a lot more fun. I am so glad that Jane and Cate are starting to play together. Cate really loves her big sister and will mimic anything her big sister does (the good and the not so good). :)

We had Cate's check-up last week and she is a healthy girl. She weighed in at 26 pounds and is still in the 90 percentile for height. She has become a little more selective in what she will eat but is still our good eater. She loves to eat carrots and is eager to gnaw on broccoli whenever it is served. She LOVES cheese, smoothies, oatmeal, crackers or any sort, macaroni and cheese ("mac") and all of the regular kid foods that little ones enjoy.

Right now she is into reading books and will sit in her room alone for quite sometime, just looking at books. When she wakes up from her afternoon nap, I can give her some milk and a few books in her crib, and she will be entertained for at least 15 minutes. She enjoys pushing baby strollers, toting around babies, pulling things off the shelf, jumping on Jane's bed, taking baths, climbing in the dishwasher, playing with her sister and snuggling her hippo, all-day-long.

Favorite food: cheese
Favorite time of day: bath time/post bath time. After drying off, Cate will run around the house naked and is always sad when she has to put her clothes on. Jane now partakes in the fun, so we often have two naked little girls running around our house at 7 pm. Good times!

Cate is such a love and is quick to jump into the arms of all of our friends. She will beg for you to pick her up or will simple back up into your lap, begging for a snuggle and some love. People are always shocked by how friendly she is, especially men. We may be in trouble if this continues into her teenage years. :)
