9 months

This little goose is growing up so fast. This past month has been one of many changes for Cate. She has calluses on the balls of her feet from army crawling all over the house. She can sit up on her own, has pulled herself to a standing position on a few occasions and is pretty much on the move. She is finding drawers that open, recycling that needs to be sorted and rugs that need to pulled. She is causing her older sister quite a bit of stress, as she is interested in grabbing anything in sight.

It comes as no surprise that Cate is a good eater. At 22 lbs, this girl is nice and healthy. She prefers finger foods to purees at this point and has yet to refuse anything I have offered her. I LOVE it! It helps that she now has 8 teeth to help with the munching. She is holding her own cup and has even discovered how to use a straw by picking up Jane's cups that sometimes end up on the floor.

Cate is a happy baby and is quick to smile. She is making a lot of noise, doing a lot of babbling and has an infectious giggle when she is being tickled. We love this girl and are so happy to have her in our family. I have a feeling things are going to get pretty busy around here but we are excited for the months to come. We love you Cate!
