Date Night

After putting together ANOTHER dresser, moving MORE boxes and working on various projects, we decided to take a break. On Monday evening we took the train to Chicago and spent the evening in the city. Our first stop was Fox & Obel grocery store. This place has great reviews, so I figured we give it a try. We picked out a delicious picnic dinner and made our way to Millenium Park. It was a great night to be in Chicago and we enjoyed a walk along the river, trying to remember all of the buildings from the architectural tour. Here are a few pictures from the Cloud Gate which I like to call "The Bean". It is an amazing structure and also makes for great pictures.

After snapping several pictures, we ate dinner and enjoyed the view of the city. The sun had gone down by the time we finished dinner, but we were not finished exploring. We made our way to the Buckingham Fountain which you may recognize from the TV sitcom, Married with Children. I must say it's not the best show, but they show the Buckingham Fountain with the opening of the show. We didn't take any pictures of the fountain so you will have to Google an image if you want to see a picture.

After walking several blocks (my idea), we made it to the train and headed home. We had a fabulous evening and enjoyed spending time in the city. Thanks for a great evening Trev.
