Grandpa Sharps Funeral
At the beginning of April, we learned that Grandpa Sharp was in his last weeks of life. A few days after we arrived in Michigan, we received the call that he passed away. We quickly shuffled our reservations and were able to extend our stay in Michigan and fly directly to Utah the following week. I was so grateful that all of us were able to attend and that my girls were able to learn even more about their great-grandfather. He lived a full life and passed away just a week before his 96th birthday.
As I sat at his funeral, I was inspired by the life he built, the faith he had an the way in which he loved his family and so many others which he came to know. The funeral program was beautiful and the Spirit was strong. It was powerful to be unified with so many family members to celebrate his life and legacy.

Cute cousins. These kiddos had so much fun together and started playing the moment they were together. We are excited to meet again in Newport Beach this summer.
