Utah
We planned a trip to Utah this fall so that we could visit the grandparents. These amazing women are in their 90's (Grandpa Sharp stayed home this afternoon). Even though they are slowing down a bit, they are so full of life. It's always so fun to be with them and I am so grateful our girls have created memories with their great grandparents.
The day after we arrived, we drove up the canyon to Snow Basin for a hike. The hike was beautiful and there were colorful leaves to be seen. The girls had a great time being outside and exploring the trails. The biggest adventure was walking the creek bed back to the car. Jane was quite upset that her shoes got wet but decided to embrace the wetness and enjoy the fun. Way to go Jane!
Grandma was calling to the angry old troll (from the 3 Billy Goats Gruff). The girls were pretty shocked when the troll answered back. Aunt Karen is so sneaky! We ended up making it a game to ease their fears and everyone had a great time pretending to be the troll.
Water break with Grandpa.
Before heading to Salt Lake on our last day, we stopped by the building where the first primary program was organized. We tried to get a picture with everyone looking but this one captures the moment much better.
