4th of July- Angels Camp

We spent the 4th of July with Mimi in Angels Camp. The weather was HOT but we had the best time. We spent most of our time at the pool, which was definitely the activity of choice for Jane and Cate. Lizzie also had a lot of fun and is gaining more confidence in the water.

The golf cart was our main mode of transportation, which is always novel for the girls. Jane is getting too tall to sit on Mimi's lap but Cate was still able to squeeze in and help with the steering.

The girls LOVED the pool and Trever was able to capture a lot of great video of them swimming. We have a GoPro and a waterproof cover, so we even captured them swimming underwater. So fun!

On the 4th of July we drove up to Arnold for the pancake breakfast and parade. The line for pancakes was quite long but it was delicious. The parade was okay but I am pretty sure we don't need to go back next year. The girls were definitely ready to head back half way through the parade. They wanted to do more swimming, go figure!

We headed home on Sunday but the girls were NOT ready to leave. They loved spending time with Mimi, taking walks with Buddie, cruising around in the golf cart, and of course swimming. We hope to go back soon!
