Lizzie - 18 months

Lizzie is now a year and a half. Old enough to go to nursery, fast enough to run away from us and fiesty enough to make her presence known. She adds so much fun and craziness to our house and we love her. Right now she is loving yogurt, clementines, "bar" (granola bars), smoothies of all varieties, toothbrushes (especially the ones that don't belong to her), caps of all types (toothpaste, make up, Neosporin, etc...).  She is also big fan of stairs, slides, bath time and her duck (lovie).

Liz is quick to give hugs and makes sure to squeeze her sisters tight before bedtime. She has a great smile and two big dimples to boot. It takes her some time to warm up to people but once you are in, she will give you unlimited hugs. She often seeks out Cate's attention by sitting right on top of her, or her book or whatever may be standing in her way of spending time with her sister.

It has been fun to watch her develop her relationships with Jane and Cate. She loves her sisters and wants to do everything they do, including sitting in a chair at the kitchen table instead of her high chair. If Jane and Cate are sitting together on the couch, Liz makes sure to squeeze in-between them so that she can be a part of the action. Over the past month, Jane has been dressing Lizzie up in dance leotards and dress-up outfits and Liz LOVES it! The grin on her face is priceless and she loves participating in their shows.

We love you Lizzie and all of the craziness and joy you bring to our family. Can't wait to see what the next 6 months will bring.
