Prayers

We have been teaching Cate to pray over the past few months and it's quite comical to hear what she comes up with. Most of the time she doesn't want to pray and refuses to fold her arms. She is happy to go about her business, eating her food or doing whatever else she wants to do, while the rest of us bless the food. There are occasions that she is excited to pray and when she does, she starts off with the usual, "Heavenly Father, we are grateful for this day..." She then says, "what is it?" This is our cue to help her with what she needs to say. It makes me chuckle every time she says, "what is it?"

The other thing I find funny is when she starts praying at church when other people are praying. When she hears the sacrament prayer or an opening or closing prayer, she begins her own personal prayer at a volume that those with around us can hear. We love you Cate.  Aaaaaamen!

Oh my gosh! Noah used to do the same thing--praying on top of other people's prayers. It used to drive E & S NUTS!
