Goodbye summer
My mom is in town, so we decided to go to the beach Sunday evening. It was a beautiful night and the kids had a blast. Jane had a fabulous time playing in the sand, running back and forth to the water. It made me a little sad that we didn't spend more time at the beach this summer. With Cate eating so much sand at this age, the pool was a much better option. Next year will be much better for beach days.
Cate was content to do her own thing and spent time exploring the sand.
This picture sums it up. Cate is interested in eating shoes and sand and Jane is headed for the water.
Our future cheerleader. Loving Trever's pants!
Goodbye summer.
After hanging out at the beach, we spent some time on the playground. While walking across the parking lot, Jane said, "There's Mary." I couldn't figure out who Mary was, so I asked for some clarification. She then said, "Over there in the green dress, she came down from the heavens." And then it clicked, she though the lady in the Sari was Mary, the mother of Jesus. Classic!
