A weekend in the great outdoors
We took our final trip of the summer this past weekend and spent some time in the great outdoors. The fires cleared and we were able to spend some time with friends in Yosemite. Instead of exploring the Valley Floor this time, we made our way up to Tuolumne Meadows. The drive was a bit longer, but the granite mountains and unique views back to the Valley made the trip more than worth it. We hiked up to Cathedral Lake and spent the afternoon in a very beautiful place. Here are some pictures along the trail...

The boys did some exploring and climbed up to a granite saddle to get a better view of the valley.

After their little trek, they had to cool off in the lake.

And our youngest hiker (just two months old) was a real trooper... she barely made a peep. Such a good little girl!

We had a great weekend and are definitely looking forward to our next adventure. Does anyone have any recommendations?
