Jane - Last Day of Kindergarten
Jane started the school year with Mrs. Perez but spent most of her Kindergarten time with Mrs. Cunha. Mrs. Cunha was on maternity leave at the beginning of the year, so Jane was lucky enough to have two great teachers this year. She absolutely LOVED Mrs. Cunha and looked forward to going to school each day.
In her final progress report, her teacher said that school is "Jane's thing" and she loves learning. She also said that Jane arrived and left with a smile each day. This girl is a ray of sunshine and I am so grateful she is having such positive school experience.
Jane had so much fun in the classroom and has become a good reader. She loved all of her extracurricular classes, especially music and movement. They Kindergarten classes had a spring performance and Jane was in her element. Performing and being on stage is definitely her thing (not like her mama). She brought home some great art projects this year and had so much fun learning to draw and paint with Mrs. Gray. She also loved PE and her time spent with Coach Brian.
This year she grew even taller and lost 4 more teeth She improved her monkey bar skills, figured out how to do a cartwheel and is confident using her new bike with gears. We will be moving in a few weeks, which means a new elementary school for Jane. We will still be in the same district, and will see some familiar faces, but it will be a change. I have great confidence Jane will thrive in her school and look forward to watching her learn and grow. Congratulations on a completing a successful year of Kindergarten. Way to go Jane Bear!
