Golden Gate Park Adventures

We have experienced some pretty amazing weather this February. A few weekends ago, we decided to take advantage of the beautiful day and headed to Golden Gate Park. The girls have been dying to go to the Children's Park, so we made that our first stop. The cement slides are always so much fun. I think Lizzie spent the most time climbing up and sliding down. 

Jane and Cate love to climb which is always thrilling and nerve wracking to watch. 

 The next stop was the carousel. They girls spent a few minutes picking out just the right animal and then they were all smiles during the ride.

We brought along scooters, bikes and Trever's skateboard to do some exploring. Poor Lizzie was a little tired but she made it through this final part of our day. Jane and Cate had a great time exploring and made good use of the bike lane (a very fascinating discovery for both of them). Our last spot to explore was the de Young Museum. The girls and a great time playing in the garden. We tried stepping in the museum for a few minutes but only lasted a short time before 2 of our 3 kiddos melted.

After exploring the park, we found a yummy mediterranean place to eat and then headed home. What a fun filled, beautiful day. I love our family adventures and look forward to many more this spring.
