4th of July

This picture was taken on the 3rd of July. In our town, they have 4th of July festivities and fireworks on the 3rd of July. The girls were most excited about the pony rides, as was the rest of the community. It has been such a fun tradition to watch fireworks down by the lake. If everyone could be here during the summer, they would understand why people want to live near Chicago.

Trever and the girls were together for the rest of the weekend, while I spent time house hunting in California. Trever got a job in the Bay Area, so we will be loading the moving van in the next few weeks. The girls had a great time with their dad and were able to enjoy a 4th of July day parade and BBQ with friends. While it was a little hard to leave for the weekend it was a good mom break for me. Feeling sad about leaving this wonderful place but excited about this new chapter in our lives. Love these girls and Trever too!
